The proposal was unanimously approved, and the program began Fall of 2022. Courses developed: (1) Theoretical Approaches to Disasters, (2) Risk and Natural Hazards, (3) Research Methods for Planning for Disaster Reduction, (4) Regulations and Public Policy Instruments for Planning for Disaster Reduction, (5) Development and Social Vulnerability to Disasters.
